Under the headline ‘Inspirational Packaging for an Attractive Future’, the PrintCity Alliance will showcase future technologies and solutions for the packaging industry.
Visitors will be given inspiration and a glimpse into the future of Value Added Packaging. The Alliance is seeking to continue spearheading innovation and development. Whilst the focus is on packaging, many solutions can be applied to commercial printing as well.
The stand will be positioned directly next to the Packaging Touchpoint in Hall 12, Stand C51 and C43. The move from the traditional Hall 6 to this new location was made to strengthen the focus on the packaging market and to meet brand owners and creatives.
At the drupa touchpoint packaging, a presentation will show future technologies and give inspiration for creative packaging. With the help of samples it will be explained: WHAT can be done and WHY should a brand owner do it? The presentation will be followed by more technical seminars with details about HOW the techniques can be successfully implemented.
In addition to these joint presentations, members will give additional presentations with even more new technologies and opportunities.
Brand owners, creatives, printers and converters will be attending the presentations and workshops and be part of the intensive exchange with many experts on the Alliance’s stand.
The companies exhibiting are: Canon, Leonhard Kurz, Metsä Board, Merck and Weilburger Graphics. The Alliance is also hosting the stand of the Verpackungsrundschau, the leading German magazine for the packaging industry.
