Aarushi Agencies highlighted their range of Web Blankets at the recent WAN-IFRA India Expo. “We have a new series of blankets for web applications which are very versatile,” informs Ashish Sharma, MD, Aarushi Agencies. The latest blankets feature high compressibility and excellent printability.
Ashish finds a lot of opportunities in present newspaper industry. “Though in the long run, digital may replace newspaper printing as a media, in India the newspaper growth is static and steady, which is good for us,” he says. “In the developed economies the newspaper industry has slowed down,” he adds.
In India, he says, the vernacular and regional newspapers are still growing since there are large un-penetrated areas for the newspaper industry in rural areas. Even the national newspapers are looking to enter into these markets.
With WAN-IFRA show getting reduced from three days to a two days show, Ashish don’t find it of much help for business. “We prepared for a three day event. A two day event will not give the exhibitors the exposure they are looking for,” he says.
Even as demonetization and GST did have short term impact on advertisement revenue generation, according to Ashish, but in the long run GST will have a positive effect on the industry. “Everything depends on the growth of the Indian economy and advertisement revenue generation,” he concludes.
