The past five years’ journey for Acme Rolltech has been filled with excitement. The company has continuously pushed the boundaries of innovation, introducing cutting-edge technologies and processes to enhance its manufacturing capabilities. From state-of-the-art machinery to advanced quality control systems, Acme invested in resources that enabled it to deliver products of highest quality and precision. It developed special products for embellishment specific to narrow web label industry. AHDW, ATAC, ATAC 2.0 & AHDC are some of new innovations that are pretty popular with customers.
In addition, Acme expanded its production facilities, increased product offerings, and diversified into new markets and industries. Starting with one Engraving machine in 2019, it doubled capacity in 2021. Today, Acme’s manufacturing area of 20,000 sqft is part of their total land area of close to 2 acres and has ample space to expand manufacturing capacity in near future.
With clients around the globe, driving Acme’s success and fueling its growth, it designs customised solutions for its customers and the essence for its growth lies in the value it brings to them.
“We are excited about the future that lies ahead,” says Sandeep Sharma, Director of Acme Rolltech. “With the continued support of our customers, partners, and team members, we are confident that the next five years will be even more remarkable,” he adds.
The company is in the field of printing & packaging with a leadership of three partners whose combined knowledge stands at around 60 years in the field. They have sold more than 9500 roll/sleeves in the past 5 years. “Our current capacity is to make around 400 rolls/sleeves every month. We are almost reaching that number every month and looking for adding increasing our capacity very soon,” shares Sandeep.
Catering to more than 900 customers globally, in diverse segments, like narrow web labels, wide web CI & Stack flexo, offset coating, film coatings, corrugation, paper bag, speciality coatings & technical textile applications, Acme is exporting to around 25 countries. “Our plan is to reach 50 countries within next 2 years,” declares Sandeep. They are currently catering to 45-48% of the entire anilox market in India. The share is increasing with 95% repeat customer orders. “Our clear focus for next 3 years is to become a Global Anilox supplier and do 50% export business. We are very well on course for the same and will increase our capacity accordingly,” adds Sandeep.
Acme has achieved growth of 25% CAGR in the past 5 years and Sandeep is very confident to retain this pace with his focus on increasing export business. “We have created our own niche market segments and place for our product. We believe in customer first approach and value services. We don’t believe in the philosophy of one solution fits for all,” emphasizes Sandeep.
Taking about their AREP programme, he says, “We are very proud of Arep (Anilox Refurbishment Programme). It is the first such programme in India. the programme promotes sustainability by refurbishing old anilox. What makes us especially proud is the achievement of: out of the 9500 rolls/sleeves we refurbished more than 3500 rolls which in turn has saved around 10 tons of metal /aluminium material,” announces Sandeep.
Sandeep Sharma, after completing his Engg in Electronics & Communications spent 15 years in top Corporate MNC’s. In 2019, he started Acme Rolltech Pvt Ltd along with his two childhood friends. Starting with an aim to manufacture made in India Anilox Rolls it is country’s pioneer and is the only Indian manufacturer of ceramic anilox rolls & sleeves. Sandeep heads the Sales & Marketing for Acme Rolltech.
Parag Patel, having a Masters Degree in Super Computing, comes for an entrepreneurial background with a family textile business. He and Parag Koradiya started the venture of manufacturing Gravure cylinders. He manages the financial part of Acme.
Parag Koradiya holds an M.Tech Degree in Electronics and Communication. With an expertise in laser engraving, he leads the R&D and Production department at Acme Rolltech.
