– showcases Sample Makers and SHCC and solutions from Tec 4 Check, TVT, Colorgate and CST.
Vishnuu R Kamat, Sr. Vice President – Sales, Advanced Graphic Systems (AGS) terms the PrintPack as the sought after show with a lot of expectations for the exhibitors. The recent edition which concluded in first week of February has been a good show for AGS though expectations on visitors’ visit weren’t fully met this time.
“We were happy with the Footfall but the same could have been much better,” says Vishnuu. “Printpack normally does not allow us any breathing space during the show times but this time we surely had free time in between. Sunday was the only day where it was really crowded but otherwise it was all ok,” he adds.
He however has no qualms about the duration of 6 days. “I think based on the investment the exhibitors do 6 days is a reasonable good time and I think it’s perfect,” opines Vishnuu.
AGS closed quite a few deals for their products at the PrintPack 2019 showfloors. They also launched the New Exact Autoscan from Xrite. “Exact Spectrodensitometer is a known name in the industry as the Standard for measuring colour. The Same device has not been put on a track to do Auto scanning of the control strip on the Offset press. This gives the existing Exact users an opportunity to upgrade themselves to the Autotracking method of measuring colour and this combined with our Ink Presetting and Closed loop Control Software will be a formidable package for the customer,” explains Vishnuu.
AGS also showcased their Sample Makers; the successful machine has been installed at more than 80 customer locations so far. Also on display were the solutions for the Print Inspection (Proof reading) from Tec 4 Check Germany, text verification tool for document checking from TVT, Laser cutting systems, Proofing Solution from Colorgate Germany and the Flexo Plate making solution from CST Germany. Apart from these, there was AGS’s newest introduction for Water based Flexo printing machine for the corrugation industry i.e SHCC.
AGS has attended about 7 PrintPack exhibitions and is quite satisfied with the 2019 participation. Vishnuu believes that despite the ups and downs and the present downward phase, Print is there to live and grow.
