“We take pride in our innovative solutions and commitment to excellence, as recognized by the prestigious Gold Star Award received at the 18th ‘International World Quality Commitment’ in Paris. However, Drupa holds a special significance for us. We’ve been participating since 2008, and each edition has been a valuable experience. This year’s Drupa, after an eight-year hiatus, holds heightened anticipation as it promises to bring about a paradigm shift in the printing industry worldwide. Drupa provides a unique platform to showcase the innovations on a global scale, connecting with industry leaders and paving the way for new opportunities and partnerships,” says Vibhati, highlighting the importance of drupa for them.
Attending drupa for the fourth time, APL Machinery this time will have its key theme revolving around advancements in QuantumJet-Digital Printing Machines. “Additionally, we are excited to present our expertise in post-printing finishing and embellishments, offering comprehensive solutions that cater to the evolving needs of our customers,” says Vibhati.
She, along with their team is very excited about the showcase of their highly anticipated 3D-Foil-Evolution machine with the latest upgrades at drupa.
“Visitors can expect immersive live demonstrations of our cutting-edge solutions and a firsthand experience of their capabilities. Our expert team will be on hand to provide insights, answer queries, and guide you through our innovative offerings,” emphasizes Vibhati.
APL Machinery will be demonstrating their wares at a 42 sq.mtr space in Hall no. 14, Stall No. D-10. The featured products included QuantumJet, 3D-Foil-Evolution and the powerful ‘make in India’ LED UV solution. “We will showcase a versatile machine that can handle Hot Foiling, Cold Foiling, and Cast and Cure, all in one,” she informs.
“Our special offer for visitors, including those from India, features exclusive discounts, customized packages, and personalized consultations if they sign the deal on the show,” announces Vibhati.
Speaking about the changing industry scenario, she says, “In the aftermath of the global COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a notable shift in sentiments towards Chinese products. Local production gains traction. Visa restrictions have limited Chinese travel to India, raising concerns about machine maintenance in emergencies. Increased demand for printed materials, driven by e-commerce packaging, advertising, and educational materials, has fueled growth in the sector.” However, supply chain disruptions, rising input costs, and challenges in accessing skilled labour have posed obstacles to sustained growth, underlines Vibhati.
“Soaring land prices are posing difficulties for startups and businesses seeking to expand their operations. In just two years, land prices have doubled, presenting obstacles to those seeking affordable property,” she adds.
This year, Drupa features 84 Indian exhibitors. India ranks 4th among the 180 countries at the event; however, only a few of them truly represent the ‘make in India’ spirit by promoting homegrown manufacturing. We believe that our collective efforts will leave a lasting mark at Drupa.
As Digital Printing has accelerated the pace of change within the printing industry, APL Machinery is poised to showcase the key technologies driving this transformation at drupa 2024. Visitors can look forward to experiencing firsthand the innovations by APL together with its commitment to customer satisfaction.
“At APL Machinery, we recognize the growing demand for sustainable solutions in the printing industry. Embracing sustainability enhances our brand reputation – by investing in sustainable practices, we drive efficiency, cost savings, and long-term growth while contributing positively to the planet,” concludes Vibhati.
