“The exhibition was like hundred tasty dishes at display but one could eat only few of them,” says Arun Dani on his recent drupa experience. It was his first visit drupa though it was his second international exhibition after All in Print China 2014. “The sight of high end machines was really an amazing experience. Vast stretch of the exhibition area made a good exercise to walk around,” he says.
He was part of the group consisting of 23 printers from their cluster. They had made adequate plans about their drupa visit. “It was a wonderful, memorable and informative tour which all the members of our group enjoyed well,” says Arun. They visited Cologne, Paris, Brussels and Switzerland along with the drupa visit. Among the key achievements, Arun places their meetings and discussion with a number of industry stalwarts regarding setting up of common facility center in India at the top. “We discussed with machine suppliers like Komori, Heidelberg, Highcon, Atom, HP, Xerox, Konica Minolta and few more. They appreciated the idea of setting up of common facility center and extended their support. The communication will be continued with their Indian counterparts and the suitable machinery will be finalized in the coming days,” reveals Arun.
