At drupa (stand D10 hall 16), Daetwyler Graphics will premiere the advanced CFM P – and its younger sibling, the CFM Econo. In addition, with the drupa presentation of its newly developed Finishstar SlimLine S, Daetwyler Graphics will impressively demonstrate its expertise. The grinding and polishing machine is an important component of an automatic cylinder line developed together with other Heliograph Holding companies.
The CFM P – the company’s flagship for high-accuracy turning, grinding and polishing of gravure cylinders – has several additional features that increase quality and productivity. These include integrated diameter measurement, a greater degree of automation and more operating convenience. Together, these ensure achievement of the desired setpoint. Alternative grinding and polishing technologies also enable more homogeneous surfaces at noticeably shorter process times. Such innovations considerably reduce production time and lead to massive increases in productivity. The CFM Econo will have a new look at drupa, but impress with the same efficiency and reliability as its bigger sibling, the CFM P.
Daetwyler Graphics’s Finishstar SlimLine S 1410 grinding and polishing machine is making its first European appearance at drupa. This newest machine generation is designed for integration into fully automatic production lines that manufacture hollow gravure cylinders with ball lengths of up to 1400 mm and a maximum weight of 150 kg. Optimal process times that guarantee high throughput, coupled with compact and space saving construction, make this equipment the ideal component for the automated concept of the future that the Heliograph Holding is bringing about.
