DGM Technology (China) Co. Ltd, a company formed in China in 1985 in the name of Huizhou Degang Machinery, had started their foreign subsidiary in India in 2018, with the factory established in Dec 2019, in Noida. DGM participated at the recently concluded PrintPack India 2025, where it had a stand area of 225 m2.
DGM India was formerly a 100% shareholding company of DGM China. Ever since it started selling machines in India in 2019, it has installed approximately 200 machines in the country. “During PrintPack we have showcased our flagship products, which are high-speed, fully servo-driven automatic flute laminator named Smart Flute 1450, TechnoCut 1050S, fully automatic die cutter with stripping and front waste removal and a folder gluer named Technofold 1100SL with 4 and 6 corner capabilities,” shares Puneet Aggarwal, Managing Director – Indian Subcontinent, DGM Automation India.
During the show, DGM was making E-Fluted sheets live on the booth with 120-120 GSM semicraft 2-ply with top Greyback sheet of 230 GSM to prepare 3 ply E flute sheets. Explaining the process, Puneet says, “We were making E-Fluted sheets on the booth and the same sheets were taken to the Die-cutter to run full speed with Stripping 7500 sheets per hour, which is a layout for 6 corner box. We were running same blanks on the booth at a speed of 28,000 boxes per hour, which is the fastest in the market. We showcased a complete 3-ply line on the booth to present the capabilities and capacity of the DGM machines.” Customers were very impressed with the live demos, and there was a lot of visitor interest seen on the booth. Puneet says almost 1000 companies visited their PrintPack booth where they entertained them. Customers who couldn’t visit or get their queries answered can always visit DGM’s Noida based demo centre.
“Market has shown a very positive response with the handshake deals close to 25 machines on the booth, of which we are sure that we will get the confirmed booking for 20 machines,” confirms Puneet. There were many customers who experienced the DGM technology in action at PrintPack and may buy later whenever the requirement arises. Currently, DGM plans to concentrate on the orders in hand that got confirmed during the exhibition and Puneet is eager to ensure smooth and immediate deliveries to install them as soon as possible at his customers’ premises.
