The response for Dongguan Shengtu Printing Equipment Co. at PrintPack was quite good, informs Jenny Zhong, Sales Manager of the company. “We have secured quite a few orders during the exhibition and got to know many new customers at the exhibition,” says Jenny Zhong. “We came with a clear understanding of India market and focused on the idea of how to promote and develop India market,” she adds.
Jenny, however doesn’t look satisfied with the visitor footfall as she had expected more visitors to meet at their stall. “This time we did not get many visitors. Maybe next time we can invite more related and professional customers,” she says.
She even found 6 days a bit too long a period for the show. “For us, maximum 5 days are ok. Most of the customers plan to be at the show for 1 or 2 days maximum,” she opines.

Though Dongguan didn’t launch any new product this PrintPack, its popular model Case Making Machine attracted a lot of visitor attention at the show. “We have got the total sales figures around 3 million RMB during the show,” informs Jenny.
Speaking about the printing industry she adds, “In China, most of the customers still focus on printing and pay less attention to the post-press. However, in India, packaging is developing very quickly. Another promising industry in the country is book printing and related industry.”
This was Dongguan’s first PrintPack participation. “Actually we planned to attend PrintPack’s earlier editions too but the show times didn’t match our Chinese new year holiday. We expect the organisers would consider next edition’s dates keeping in mind the Chinese industry’s suitability as well,” concludes Jenny.
