The Designing Guru keeps the audience spellbound at the 1st Webinar of the series of six MCOP events on ‘AI in Printing’ by AIFMP & PRESSIdeas.
Printers, Designers and Agencies made the most of the webinar by an AIFMP & PRESSIdeas on AI in Printing. The first in the series of six MCOP (Master Class On Printing) events planned for this year was a huge draw with over 520 registrations from across the length and breadth of the country.
The powerful presentation by Mr.Shiva Vishwanathan – a National Institute of Design alumnus – held the audience in a vice like grip as he delivered it with live examples of products made by him and his team with the help of Artificial Intelligence. “Embrace AI or Perish” was the message shared by the designing guru. Urging the audience to welcome the technology with open hands, he emphasised, “Generally people are initially apprehensive of anything new especially technologies. AI too is sailing in the same boat where we see people are rather apprehensive of the technology than just embrace and reap the benefits it provides.”
With live examples of products and packages that he and his team has developed with the help of AI, he explained the nuances in designing. He explained how AI can actually help a designer not only to save time but also create a much better design and that too much faster. “It is a helping hand and we need to harness the power of AI to our advantage,” emphasised Shiva.
The Webinar started at 4pm with the inaugural address by Mr.Satish Malhotra, President of AIFMP (All India Federation of Master Printers), the apex body of printers in India.
