The members of the PrintCity Alliance were thrilled with the overwhelming response from visitors at FachPack 2018. The “Packaging design, finishing and production” seminar also drew quite a crowd.
Sustainability and innovations

Sustainability is gaining significance in the industry, as indicated by numerous talks with customers and interested professionals. More of a marginal issue a few years ago, consumers today are displaying growing awareness of sustainability and making it a purchase criterion. Legislators are also contributing to firmly anchoring sustainability as a decision-factor along the entire value chain.
It was no surprise therefore that the products and services of Alliance members were in great demand. Their shared booth at the event gave professional visitors a compact overview of a wide range of information: from sustainable substrates to eco-friendly varnishes and inks.
