Evolution Series provides converters a scalable production solution providing adaptability to the needs driving future business growth.
For Gourav Roy, Flexo Image Graphics (FIG), LabelExpo Europe has always been the most important shows for the labels industry. FIG team was mainly available at Mark Andy booth catering to the interest for flexography and digital printing and converting systems. “Launch by Mark Andy for Evolution Series and Digital Pro series was an important move for us and for the market we handle,” says Gourav. Besides, Rotoflex, which is also part of Mark Andy group, was of great interest for visitors as it already boasts almost 90 installations in the Indian subcontinent.
A simple-to-operate platform powered by proven Mark Andy engineering and technology, Evolution Series provides converters a scalable production solution designed to serve their business needs today, while providing adaptability to the needs driving future business growth. Evolution Series is available in 13 and 17 inch (330 and 460 mm) web widths with production speeds up to 750 fpm (230 mpm).
Gourav says the number of visitors from India as well as the subcontinent has reduced at the Labelexpo Europe, however, he was positive about the opportunity to meet converters who are serious about their interest and positive about their expansion plans.
“LabelExpo is always a high point where converters get a break to introspect and plan for the future. Label industry is growing and if one is up to date, there could be no reason to look back,” says Gourav.
They closed a few deals and quite a few are in the pipeline. “The market is competitive and scalability is important to sustain. Keeping the same focus in mind we saw new launch of flexo presses and lot of focus on the digital side,” he shares, speaking about the technology on show.
“Converters needs to constantly think dynamic and a show like this helps the growth chart,” he concludes.
