Showcases latest Photo Imaging Products for the Indian Market focusing on photography and print solutions.
Fujifilm India showcased its latest range of products at the Consumer Electronic Imaging Fair (CEIF) 2018. One of the pioneers in imaging technology with over 80 years of experience, the company showcased its innovative line up of products offering photo and print related solutions for consumers and businesses. Customers could witness Fujifilm’s X Series range of mirrorless cameras, Instax range of instant cameras, first of its kind Wonder Photo Shop Concept, wedding/ personalized album solutions and wide format printing capabilities. The four-day long event took place at the Bombay Exhibition Centre from 9th- 12th January 2018.
Being the world’s 3rd biggest photography fair organized every year by the All India Photographic Trade & Industry Association (AIPTIA) this was a great platform for Fujifilm which showcased its latest products and services to the visiting customers.
Some of the key highlights of Fujifilm products at the Exhibition were:
Fujifilm X-series: Taking professional photography to new heights, the X series range of mirrorless cameras offer cutting edge innovative technology combined with traditional styling and unique features that can make one fall in love with photography all over again. The Key products on display included X-Pro2, X-T2, X-100F, X-T20, X-E3, X-A3 and X-A10 which the customers touched and tried at the booth. The company also lined up Photography Workshops by professional photographers which the customers could register themselves for. There were opportunities for participants to shoot the subject at the Wedding and Portrait Demo Zones at the booth.
Fujifilm Instax range: A range of instant cameras for the selfie generation that was launched by Fujifilm in India in 2015. The Instax has indeed been very well accepted globally and in India too ever since its launch here. This product has an analog type printing capability which enables users to obtain on-the-spot high quality photos instantly. The Instax camera is very easy and fun to use and enables users to capture memories in print, gift them or preserve them forever. The Key products on display included Mini 9, Mini 25, Mini 70, Mini 90, Instax Hello Kitty and SQ10.
Wonder Photoshop Concept: A one of a kind creative space to bring physical prints and the world of imagination together under one roof. With the theme “Photo Renaissance”, Wonder Photo Shop was equipped with creative ways to unleash the power of physical prints. The Fujifilm concept of “Photo Renaissance” emphasizes on shooting, displaying, preserving and gifting. It is meant to bring the wonder and joy of photography back into peoples’ lives and help to create a new and prosperous photo industry. India’s first Wonder Photo Shop was officially opened in August last year at Express Avenue Mall, Chennai and has already witnessed profits in only 5 months of operation. The company plans to open more such outlets in Metro Cities across India. This Wonder Photo Shop adds to Fujifilm’s 18 other Wonder Photo Shop locations across the world including Japan, Europe, North America, China, Russia, South East Asia, South America and Australia.
Wide Format Printing Capabilities: Fujifilm showcased its Wide Format Printing capabilities for business. The key product on display was the Acuity LED 1600 II. The latest generation of this successful LED UV hybrid printer is now even faster and more versatile, with simultaneous colour, white and clear ink printing. Powered by Fujifilm’s latest printhead and ink technologies, this is a reliable machine built to deliver ultra-high quality photo prints. Fujifilm’s products are being used by many Wedding Album Printing labs. Customers could also see Photo samples on display printed on the Acuity Select as well as Jet Press 720S.

Another high point was the photography workshop about the art of photography and the features of X-series by renowned photographers throughout the event. This was an interesting and insightful discussion for all the photography lovers. To enhance the overall experience, a special section had been created for professional photographers to showcase the features of the Fujifilm X series which combines traditional styling with cutting edge innovative technology.
