Greater Delhi Master Printers’ Association organised the felicitation function to welcome the newly elected team of AIFMP. Present at the function were President, Prof. Kamal Chopra; Vice Presidents, Hon. General Secretary, Hon. Joint Secretary and Hon. Treasurer. Shri Vijay Kumar Chopra, Editor-in-chief, Punjab Kesari and past President of the AIFMP, was the Chief Guest.
Shri Vinod Sethi, President GDMPA welcomed the newly elected team under the leadership of Prof. Kamal Chopra for the year 2016-17. Apart from the members of GDMPA, the event was attended by the printers including those from Punjab and Uttar Pradesh. The GDMPA President emphasised the problems of printing industries viz., performance and quality of printing machinery being manufactured in India, shortage of trained technical people, increase in paper prices and competition among printers.
The Chief Guest appreciated the new team, especially efforts made by Prof. Kamal Chopra towards the cause of printing in both India as well as abroad. He also appreciated Shri Subhash Chander for being felicitated for the Print Guru Award. Prof. Kamal Chopra stressed upon the need for steps for upliftment of micro and small printers. He also talked about his mission to put AIFMP on international map and invited GC members to the April 2017 meeting in China.
