Robatech will be presenting its modern gluing technologies at drupa
Process optimizations, short setup times, and automations are very important in the print industry. With these aspects as focus of its products, Robatech will present its ‘future of adhesive application’ at drupa (hall 6 / booth D60).
Robatech will present its numerous innovations and products such as application heads of its Diamond series and Concept melters. The newly developed RobaPUR 2 MOD tank melt system will be highlighted at drupa. The Melt on Demand (MOD) technology of the flexible unit ensures timed production. It has a delivery capacity of up to 50 kg/h which speeds up the bookbinding process. This innovation will be presented to the public for the first time at drupa.
For cold glue processing, a new generation of electrically operated cold glue application heads of the ECX Platinum series will be presented at drupa. It combines high switching frequency with long service life for optimized adhesive application.
In autumn of 2015, Robatech introduced the FK IT series with mask technology into the market. This series will also be presented at drupa. Using the masks integrated into the coating application nozzles, the application pattern can be flexibly adjusted to the production requirements.
The SpineCoat and SideBead application units designed for PUR hot melt adhesives by Robatech offer self-sufficient systems for precise adhesive application. They are particularly suited for retrofits of bookbinding machines and clean bonding of spines.
“The production of print products is pure contract manufacturing. The production process is determined by numerous customer requirements and often tight delivery deadlines,” explains Kevin Ahlers, Marketing and Communications Manager at Robatech AG. “For adhesive application, this translates into simple and fast format adjustments and immediate production starts. During the ten days at drupa, we will present different solutions,” he adds.
