Heidelberg’s maiden PrintPack participation will have Postpress bang with daily live demos of two star products beside the other key solutions on display.
Participating for the first time in PrintPack, Heidelberg is now coming with its offerings on Postpress finishing solutions. Heidelberg, along with its Postpress Partner, MK Masterwork Machinery will be showcasing two MK Easymatrix equipments in the show. Heidelberg will be present in Hall No.9, Stall H 11. The 220 Sq.mtr booth will have complete offerings from Heidelberg right from the Prinect Prepress Solutions to special discounted offers on Consumables, Spares and Services.
“Our Star Products at the show are the Easymatrix 106 FC Foiling machine and Easymatrix 106 Die Cutting Machine with Stripping,” says Rajendra Prasad, Heidelberg India. Both the machines were launched in 2015, and showcased at drupa 2016.
There will be 3 live demos on all days during the show of both the machines, and various packaging jobs and related workflow will be demonstrated live to the visitors. The Easymatrix 106 FC Foiling equipment is targeted at the Packaging printers, and converters, who can do high quality/ fine register foil and emboss jobs with precise registration. The Easymatrix 106 FC Foil stamping equipment is designed to accomplish accurate registration for foil stamping and embossing operations in one pass. Twenty heating zones ensure best results, even with complicated jobs. The longitudinal foil unwind system is equipped with 3 advance shafts (standard configuration, can be expanded to 6 shafts) to ensure smooth, accurate feeding of the foil with excellent tension. A foil rewinder is available as an option. The software for the foiling system was developed by Masterwork and can handle even complex foil advance calculations – increasing efficiencies in foil usage. The foil tension is controlled with servo drives and a foil rewinder is available as an option. A hologram registration system can be added as well.
The Easymatrix is a value for money equipment for packaging printers, The workflow is much more effective because automation largely eliminates errors resulting from manual intervention. With an output of 7,700 sheets per hour and short set-up times, the Easymatrix 106 C/CS stands for productivity and cost-effectiveness up to the 106 format. It processes materials from 90 to 2,000 g/m². Even corrugated board up to 4 mm thickness can be processed. “So far we have installed 14 Easymatrix equipment’s in India. To name a few, Galaxy Offset, Parksons Packaging, TCPL, Replika are some of our happy customers,” says Prasad.
