Ahmedabad’s packaging and converting player starts in-house printing with Canon ImagePRESS without teaming up with any third party.
HNCO Packaging in Ahmedabad is relatively a new but fully passionate player in the block of packaging printing and conversion. Unfolding a new dawn in business, the company has purchased a brand new Canon imagePRESS V800 from Canon India. A primary reason of investing in the new Canon digital colour production press is to manage everything in-house that were outsourced earlier.
At the helm of HNCO Packaging are three Directors, viz, Mr Vatsal Sharma, Mr Manish Jain, and Mr Arjun Monga. Regarding the roles the three leaders play, Mr Vatsal remarks, “We have different roles & responsibilities as one of us had fully taken care of the outsourcing activities in which we tied up with some print service providers with Canon machines.”
When asked about the company’s year of incorporation, Mr Vatsal Sharma quips, “We are as old as this newly installed Canon imagePRESS V800 which we have just bought from Canon India for a brand new start in business. When I say ‘a brand new start’, it means starting of in-house printing and production without teaming up with any third party.”
A team of seven—three Directors & four employees of HNCO Packaging—are currently engaging in printing and production of packaging solutions which encompass end products comprising mono cartons, labels, stickers, among others. Mr Sharma says, “We are gradually expanding business with the establishment of our own production facility where installed the Canon imagePRESS V800 digital colour production press.”
Commenting on choosing the Canon digital colour press, Mr Sharma says, “This Canon press is an ideal entry-level machine for what we are into at the moment in our business. Most of all, this compact digital production press has the features and capacities which impressed us over in the first place as it ticks all the boxes of our requirement.”
Delivering outsized performance in compact footprint, Canon imagePRESS V800 operates at the speed of 81ppm supporting a vast range of multiple media comprising 350g/m2 (gsm) cover as well as envelops, synthetic, and long sheets up to 1300mm. This digital colour production press delivers astounding graphic print outputs in resolution of 2400x2400dpi using the unique VCSEL imaging technology.
Sharing about the near future plan of HNCO Packaging Pvt Ltd, Mr Sharma articulates, “We are at the threshold of a new beginning as our printing and production facility is just activated with the installation of Canon imagePRESS V800. We look forward to expanding our machine portfolio with more production machines, perhaps from Canon India.”
Currently, HNCO Packaging works for clients from diverse sectors and individuals from different walks of life and businesses who are in Ahmedabad and some western Indian cities. In this, Mr Sharma mentions that they are now gearing up to launch an e-commerce platform soon through which they will expansively serve clients at pan-India level.
