According to Mr.Durai A, Country Business Manager – Indigo & Inkjet Business Solutions at Hewlett-Packard, “It has been a great year for us with double digits growth and it is a matter of pride to announce that India has the fastest growing country in the Asia Pacific region as has been announced recently.”
It was the first showcase in India for HP Indigo WS6800 Digital Press at LabelExpo India 2016. “We are showcasing the new HP Indigo WS6800 Digital press for the first time in India. One of the major attractions at our booth is the digital supermarket, where visitors could see first-hand, the various application possibilities for label and packaging converters. Our key highlight was the Brand Innovation Summit, where we were able to share insights with brand managers and owners, helping them understand the challenges and opportunities of the label industry. Four of my customers are present here and they are displaying what they have achieved with their HP Indigo. It’s basically display of applications that can be done on the Indigo,” he continues.
“Colour matching has been an issue with all the digital presses especially when it comes to Pantone colours. Our machines are capable of producing the colours, whichever it might be, on the fly. This is made possible by the machines’ inline photospectometer which helps in getting the exact colours as may be required by the client,” emphasizes Mr.Durai.
