At PrintPack India 2025, Kodak will showcase its latest range of comprehensive digital as well as analog solutions for the commercial and packaging printers.
Kodak offers commercial and packaging printers a comprehensive range of solutions. Whether it’s the fastest CTP technology or the most advanced process free plates, the first name that we associate them with is Kodak. Whether it’s their PROSPER inkjet presses or imprinting solutions that break the quality/speed barrier or be it the PRINERGY workflow solutions that can seamlessly streamline production across analog and digital print, Kodak is among the global technological leaders of the industry. “In the “and” era of print, Kodak, unlike competitors, can make sure printers have the right solution – whether it’s offset or digital—at the right time to help them stay productive and profitable into the future,” avers Bhalchandra Nikumb, Print Solutions Sales Director, India, Kodak.
In 2024, Kodak continued investment in innovation and made significant progress with its major product lines. “We continued the controlled market introduction of our new PROSPER presses, with the placement of the first PROSPER ULTRA 520 press in Europe and the first PROSPER 7000 Turbo Press, the world’s fastest inkjet press, in the United States,” says Mr. Nikumb. Kodak also introduced several significant advances and innovations that help printers meet today’s business challenges and achieve long-term success. These include, the efficiency-enhancing OPTIMAX Pre-coater for the KODAK PROSPER ULTRA 520 Press, the PROSPER Print Bar, a highly flexible addition to PROSPER Imprinting Systems, the innovative SONORA Ultra Process Free Plate, which represents the pinnacle of process-free plate technology, the MAGNUS Q3600 Titan Platesetter, the most versatile VLF platesetter on the market, as well as PRINERGY Access 2.0, a powerful SaaS solution, which puts print buyers in control of file preparation.
“We expect the trends towards more sustainable practices, the acceleration of digital transformation and the simplification and automation of work processes to continue this year,” says Nikumb looking ahead at 2025. “Going forward, the printing industry can expect a more fluid combination of technologies, enabling printers to improve sustainability, efficiency and profitability. The flexibility to select the most appropriate solution for any given situation—be it analog or digital printing—will be key for printers to navigate shifts in market conditions and consumer expectations. This strategy ensures that print service providers can utilize the advantages of both technologies to enhance their operations and outputs, paving the way for a more adaptable, proactive, and sustainable industry. Kodak will continue to support printers with its advanced products and system solutions in the successful implementation of this strategy,” he adds.
With PrintPack 2025, one of the premier shows of the industry, just around the corner, Kodak is all geared for a great show with high expectations. Nikumb sums up, “India’s dynamic printing market is of great and growing importance to Kodak. As a PrintPack exhibitor, we expect to meet many existing and potential customers from the Indian commercial and packaging printing industry at the show and inspire even more printers to take advantage of Kodak’s comprehensive range of solutions for digital and offset production.”
He is equally excited about other technologies expected to be showcased at PrintPack India 2025. “As PrintPack visitors, we would be looking specifically for high-quality, high-speed production inkjet solutions that help printers make an easy and profitable transition from offset to digital printing, offer great flexibility in terms of substrates and applications, and enable fast job turnaround thanks to short production lead times. In addition, we would explore prepress and workflow solutions that reduce costs and support consistent high-quality production through advanced digitization, automation and intelligent process optimization,” says Nikumb.
Kodak highlights at their PrintPack India 2025 booth will chiefly be the SONORA XTRA Process Free Plates, KODAK TRENDSETTER Platesetter, KODAK PROSPER and KODAK PRINERGY. “At PrintPack India we will highlight that Kodak provides the most comprehensive portfolio of innovative digital, offset and software solutions designed to help printers successfully meet today’s industry challenges and profitably serve their customers,” states Nikumb Bhalchandra.
The Kodak team will present the SONORA XTRA Process Free Plate which makes process free a desirable option for offset printers in search of a plate that can reduce costs in both prepress and on press without compromising print quality or productivity. As a perfect solution for high-quality imaging SONORA Plates, the Kodak booth will feature a KODAK TRENDSETTER Platesetter which leverages KODAK SQUARESPOT Imaging Technology, providing unmatched precision, and reliability for efficient platemaking and ultimate print quality.
KODAK PROSPER Inkjet Presses and Imprinting Systems, using Kodak’s high-speed continuous inkjet technologies, offer unparalleled digital solutions that enable printers to produce high-quality work consistently and cost-effectively at industry-leading speeds. At PrintPack India, Kodak will exhibit PROSPER Imprinting Systems, which are designed for integration into offset, flexo, or gravure presses, converting lines, and finishing equipment. The versatile imprinting solutions are suitable for a wide range of commercial, packaging and personal care applications.
Also on display will be the KODAK PRINERGY Platform, which offers smart workflow automation and seamlessly integrates traditional analog and digital printing processes.
“We look forward to welcoming PrintPack attendees at booth K-34 in hall 16 C-11,” says Bhalchandra Nikumb.
