Insight Communications announces the installation of SCREEN Truepress Jet 350UV+ Digital Label Press at Leo Designs and Packaging in Nalagarh, Himachal Pradesh.
Leo Designs and Packaging provides printing and packaging facilities for cost-effective and superior quality printing solutions all under one roof. Their facility produces a wide range of Self-Adhesive Labels, Monocartons, Lamitubes, E-flute and regular shipper cartons.
Their latest SCREEN Truepress Jet L350UV+ series is a flexible and automated label production system, delivering high speeds of up to 60 meters per minute. “We looked at several digital presses, and if we found a product that was right, there was something missing. Along a year back, we came across SCREEN and whatever we wanted of a digital press, SCREEN had all the things going for it, and more,” comments Mr. Varun Rao, Director of Leo Designs and Packaging.
The SCREEN Truepress Jet L350UV+ has been installed by Insight Communications, the representatives for SCREEN. Screen’s proprietary grayscale printheads deliver around 80 million droplets per second, allowing high-speed printing of up to 60 meters every minute. This enables throughput of 16.1 square meters (173.3 square feet) per minute for 350-millimeter-wide paper, making the Truepress Jet L350UV one of the world’ s leading systems for inkjet printing of labels.
Screen’s proprietary UV Truepress inks provide coverage of a much wider gamut than previous process color inks. This enables a natural finish and higher level of quality even for label designs with subtle colour differences. Truepress inks are also low odour and create little buildup, making them ideal for post-processing such as varnishing and laminating; using white ink while printing on to coloured media, including transparent items, creates a high-quality finish.
