MPS has broadened its reach in South Asia with the appointment of Intercom Trade Services (a K-Group company) as its new local representative for Pakistan, effective December 1st. Located in Karachi, K-Group began operations in 1997 and provides services in the field of chemicals, machinery, office automation and archiving. Intercom Trade Services is a division of the group specializing in machinery, including extrusion, printing and converting machines and represents some of the world’s most renowned machine manufacturers.
“We are very pleased to be MPS’ new sales partner in Pakistan,” commented Kafil Shaikh, CEO and owner of the K-Group and representing Intercom Trade Services. “Their innovative range of high-calibre printing presses is an advantageous addition in the K-Group family for flexo label printing.”
MPS co-founder and Commercial Director Eric Hoendervangers explained the choice for Intercom Trade Services: “We know that Pakistan is a market with a lot of potential. With highly populated cities like Karachi with over 21 million inhabitants, there is naturally a higher demand for consumer goods which require labels. We see K-Group offering a well-suited network to increase our market share in Pakistan.”
Intercom Trade Services, a part of K-Group, represents many European brands, particularly in the field of extrusion, printing and converting. With operations out of Karachi, Intercom has a team of highly-skilled professionals in sales and service.
