Jayant Mammen Mathew, Executive Editor of Malayala Manorama, has been elected as the President of INS (the Indian Newspaper Society). The apex body of the country’s print media industry elected Mathew to the top post for 2018-19 at the organisation’s general body meeting held in Bangalore recently. He succeeds Akila Urankar of Business Standard.
L Adimoolam of Health and The Antiseptic is the Vice President. Lav Saksena is the Secretary General while Shailesh Gupta of Mid Day is the Deputy President. Sharad Saxena, Hindustan Times is Hon. Treasurer.
