On August 27th, KMPA (Kerala Masters Printers Association) submitted a memorandum to the Minister of Finance Dr.Thomas Isaac. KMPA was represented by S.Saji (President) along with R Gopakumar (Vice President) and Rajesh.G.( Hon Secretary). The memorandum highlighted the lack of clarity prevalent in the printing industry regarding GST. The association highlighted the difficulties of the printers due to the recent changed Taxes consequent upon the GST implementation. The printing association also forwarded its request for uniformity of Taxes in the Printing sector.
KMPA representatives expressed in detail the concerns of the industry and marked the meeting with the Minister being successful. Minister Dr. Thomas Isaac took keen interest in printers’ concerns and assured that he would look into the matter.
