To reveal two new plate product launches for the India market.
PrintPack India 2017 is India’s premier show for the graphic arts industry, and Kodak is excited to welcome show goers to their booth at A13, Hall 1. Kodak, with its belief in ‘the power of print – and in its future’ continues to invest in innovations that equip printers to offer their customer’s a range of new applications, superior quality, and increased speed and efficiency.
At PrintPack India, Kodak will highlight a full range of its solutions – hardware, software, consumables, and services– designed for customers in the graphic arts, commercial print, publishing and packaging sectors.
Pre-Press
On the pre-press side, Kodak will showcase its award-winning thermal CTP platesetters and portfolio of plate solutions. For over 21 years, Kodak has been at the forefront of development of thermal imaging technology with over 21,000 CTP machines sold around the world. In 2016, Kodak released a host of new automation options to complement the KODAK TRENDSETTER and KODAK ACHIEVE CTP families.
For Print Service Providers looking to build greater sustainability into their operations, Kodak will showcase its successful process free plate technology, SONORA. Over 3,000 customers around the world enjoy the benefits of Kodak’s SONORA Process Free Plates. With environmental sustainability at the forefront of more and more printers’ strategic investments, we anticipate that 30% of Kodak’s plate volume will be process free by 2019 as process free plates are quickly becoming a mainstream industry product. Kodak will also reveal two new plate product launches for the India market that set new levels of on-press performance for print service providers.
Flexo
Kodak’s Flexcel NX System ’16 and NX plates lead the quality brigade in flexo plate-making. The new FLEXCEL NX System ’16 builds on the award-winning NX Advantage technology, which includes advanced plate surface patterning capabilities to dramatically improve ink transfer efficiency in the broadest range of flexo printing applications. As Kodak and NX become a norm in India’s thriving flexibles and labels space, it looks to build on the strong portfolio of its packaging solutions. For flexible packaging printers, the FLEXCEL NX System ’16 means cost savings and press efficiency by delivering ink savings, faster press operation, use of fewer colours and longer lasting plates in narrow, mid and wide web operations.
Digital Printing
Print service providers that are interested in exploring the range of new services that digital printing provides will have an opportunity to hear about Kodak’s latest technology, the NexPress ZX Series Digital Color Production Press. The NexPress ZX series takes the versatility of the NexPress even further to include stunning opaque white and the ability to print on a variety of thicker, and synthetic substrates. These benefits make the NexPress a great fit for commercial and packaging environments.
Kodak’s Inkjet Presses and Inkjet Heads, the Prosper series of products, will also be highlighted during our presence at the show. Within the inkjet domain, Kodak caters to the high-speed newspaper, packaging, and commercial production, and with innovations such as XGV (Extended Gamut Varnish), the possibilities are endless.
Workflow
Last, and not the least, is Prinergy Workflow – the leading prepress automation software that keeps costs, quality, and business risk in control while giving you more freedom to grow your business. Kodak will bring the latest in Prinergy Workflow to the show and will talk about innovations, like Cloud Services and demonstrate how Kodak software solutions deliver even more efficiency, quality, and flexibility for print and packaging service providers than ever before.
At PrintPack India, Kodak will show customers how Kodak’s balanced portfolio across pre-press equipment, consumables and workflow, digital printing, flexography and high-speed inkjet can power their business today and into the future.
