Kodak’s thermal CtP and Sonora Process Free technology win big at PrintPack India 2017
Kodak continues to drive thermal excellence in the CtP space, with 3 out of every 4 thermal CtP equipments sold in India being Kodak. Visitors stopped by the Kodak Quarter to discuss on technology that powers more than 850 pre-press setups across the country. The Sonora Process Free zone housed real print samples from India’s Sonora plate users across the entire span of print applications – commercial, publishing, newspaper and packaging. Tent calendars produced using the “soon-to-be-launched” Sonora UV Process Free plates were a star attraction, bringing to the fore an amalgam of benefits from a complete Kodak pre-press setup – Kodak CtP imaging Sonora UV plates, driven by Kodak Prinergy Workflow with DotShop and Staccato FM 10 Screening. Over a thousand calendars were given away at the show, and they now adorn desks of printers and technocrats across the country.
