Konica Minolta made good of the opportunity at Label Expo India 2018 platform to showcase the AccurioLabel 190, its state-of-the-art label printing solution. A future-ready product designed for the dynamically-evolving market demands, the AccurioLabel 190 offers best-in-class print speeds and stability, as well as faster start-up and reduced setup time. “It delivers extremely stable, high-quality output from the very first print to minimise paper wastage and reduce time-to-print, and is capable of printing on different media including paper, non-tack paper, tack paper, synthetic paper, PP, and PET of variable thickness,” said Mr.Daisuke Mori, Managing Director, Konica Minolta India.
According to Manish Gupta, Marketing Manager, National Marketing Manager – PP and IP, Konica Minolta Business Solutions “With its compact size, the AccurioLabel 190 also enables better space economy and more efficient utilisation of workspace when compared to other digital printers – in the same category”. He also added that All of this combines to deliver superior productivity and improved profitability, in addition to allowing printing businesses to expand their business operations by catering to a much wider range of new-age print jobs.
A winding equipment from Brotech, with whom Konica Minolta recently tied up, was on show at their stall. The company also had a finishing solution which directly supports short-run label printing so that the label printers do not need separate dyes to finish the digitally printed job. Konica Minolta has two AccurioLabel 190 machines installed in India as of now.
With the label industry growing above average in India and with the short-run labels enhancing their market share, Konica Minolta is looking forward to have a bite from the pie as far as digital label production is concerned. “Indian market potential along with the Indian printer’s attitude to embrace new technology, we are always a game for coming up with new technologies and variants for the Indian market” said Mr.Daisuke Mori.
