Konica Minolta customer speaks about the quality of the machine and impeccable service by KM.
Shree Kamana Colour Digital Solution, Delhi was started by Puneet Kumar in July 2022. “I was a freelancer who used to design for my customers for a couple of years before I gathered the courage to actually have a digital printing setup of my own,” says Puneet with a smile.
When asked about his entering into the field of designing and printing, Puneet revealed that his father too was in the field of printing (screen printing) and that sowed the seed of printing career in him at an early age. “The sort of screen printing that dad did was slowly dying with the advent of modern digital printing technology and it was imperative upon me to scale it up to the demands of the market.”
Shree Kamana Colour Digital Solution has a state-of-the-art Konica Minolta AccurioPres C7100 doing the duties of printing efficiently. “One of the reasons for having a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7100 machine on our shop floor is my experience with the Konica Minolta machine while I was doing freelancing. I used to get my customers’ jobs printed on KM machines and they were very happy with the quality. Moreover, I never ever heard any complaint from the machine owners about after sales service in this time-critical printing industry,” Puneet reveals.
The machine is capable of running up to 400gsm paper weight in simplex as well as duplex printing. Sheets upto 1300mm and duplex upto 900mm are perfectly okay to run. Since paper feeding through air-blow, think paper handling is very easy. It also supports embossed paper with a speed of 57 pages per minute A3 size. The machine boasts of a very accurate front-to-back registration, every time.
In addition to digital, Shree Kamana Colour Digital Solution also does a lot of offset printing which gets outsourced to their associates in the industry. “I always believed that offset and digital are exclusive streams and they both co-exist as well as complement each other perfectly, when it comes to their respective applications,” states Puneet.
Puneet is convinced that the KM team has the best service and support team in the digital printing arena. “It has never happened over all these years that a KM machine has stuck with trouble for more than a couple of hours, even if a spare has to come from another location which too doesn’t take too long,” praises Puneet. Speaking about Shree Kamana, he says, “It is a chain of digital printers, based in Delhi and nearby areas, collaborating with each other in order to share knowledge, expertise and at the same time keep a check on avoidable competition and rate war.”
