At the Jaipur LMAI Conference 2023, S Kumar represented ZONTEN brand of label presses. The company’s MD, Manish Hansoti talked on the topic of “Thinking Forward – What’s Next for Today’s Label Convertors”. With over 80 press installations in the Indian market, the presentation mainly focused on adoption of new technology and how it creates wealth for a label printer. Explaining how Offset + Flexo are more useful for label printers and how it can help reduce costing. The team had a small question and answer session on stage. Offset presses installed with LED UV decreases carbon emission and thus are environmentally friendly. The on-stage dialogue by the father and son team of Manish and Aarjav also demonstrated how to evaluate the right machines for the right market place. “Printers having 2 to 3 flexo presses need an intermittent or full rotary offset which will reduce the cost and later can have a digital press too,” advises Manish. “Small quantity shrink sleeves, Pouches, printed Lamitubes and IML have a big market and for this less prepress cost has become a vital factor,” believes Aarjav Hansoti. Embellishment on labels/ shrink-sleeves/IML and lamitubes are the most in demand products at the new market place.
