Maxcess, a global player providing innovative products and services for automated web handling applications is set to begin local manufacturing of its renowned FIFE Guiding product line, starting with the FIFE 500 Max Web Guiding System, in January 2025. The decision to establish a local manufacturing facility is a significant step forward for Maxcess India. This strategic move by the company enhances its operations in India and aims to cater to the growing demands of the Indian industry.
As the market for automated web handling solutions continues to expand rapidly, local manufacturing will not only bolster Maxcess’ ability to meet the increasing demand but also significantly reduce lead times for customers. The FIFE-500 MAX Web Guiding System
The FIFE-500 MAX packs in more features while improving accuracy and throughput in various narrow web applications including nonwoven, tag and label and battery converting. Featuring a five-inch touchscreen interface with multiple languages, newly designed sensors for enhanced resolution and accuracy, a smoother 8-pole motor for better guiding at slow speeds and an all-new modern design, the FIFE-500 MAX ushers in the next-generation of guiding from FIFE, the company that invented the first Web Guide back in 1939. The FIFE-500 MAX can accommodate web widths up to 1200 mm and tensions up to 800N.
