The RICOH distributor presents the latest technologies at PAMEX 2024. D P Mahajan talks about the offering and building relationships with customer service.
PAMEX, for Minosha India has been a fovourite industry event. “For us PAMEX is a platform to showcase all RICOH technologies and innovations and a meeting point with our customers from across India,” says D P Mahajan, Minosha India. “People look forward to this event to evaluate products at a common platform to get to their buying decisions,” he adds.
RICOH has two distributors in India with Minosha India having a long legacy of over three decades since 1993 when it was known as Ricoh India. Minosha sells the entire range of RICOH products (not just from production printing segment) as well as solutions based services of Ricoh products. For example, they have Managed Print Service Contract.
What makes PAMEX an interesting platform for Minosha according to Mahajan is, “There are a lot of serious visitors who come to see technologies live and have their doubts and queries answered. Though customers keep coming to us at our demo centres for same purpose yet the number of customers coming at one time at one place makes PAMEX a wonderful platform to meet both customers’ as well as our needs.” At PAMEX 2024, Minosha didn’t launch any new product but they had on display all the products they launched just a month ago at a Delhi event. In addition, the company was offering lucrative bargain for the visiting customers looking to upgrade their existing set ups with modern RICOH equipment. “RICOH machines have been known for their modular design and upgrade possibility should the need arise in future. We also have special discount for on the spot bookings at PAMEX. We have our entire range here – there are our newly launched laser printers and office devices with live display along with the large format plotter and many other products and solutions,” informs Mahajan.
He highlights the changing trend in the industry by pointing, “Digital printing growing in India – showing a marginal shift from traditional offset printing towards digital. It is chiefly because of short run profitability of digital process as well as digital’s capability to support many other growing industries like retail for their printing needs of labels, tags, packaging etc. There is also rise in demand for on-the-move printing and print on-demand applications especially in the book publishing segment where digital obviously has an upper hand.”
Mahajan sees the need to upgrade as a vital requirement for the industry. This chiefly includes knowledge information sharing which Minosha does by gathering feedback from the customers and then shares its updates on those requirements based on solutions devised their team of experts. The customers are guided on many aspects including how to carry out particular application, manage colour library, control work and many such areas. This is how Minosha provides world class service to its customers. Service is considered the first thing to build long-term relationship with customers at Minosha. “We are here to support our customers through the life cycle of our products,” declares Mahajan.
PAMEX 2024 had a great footfall from the very first day. Minosha India met great many people, had lot of interaction with existing as well as new customers. “We even met printers who were third to fourth generation businessmen. There were many people looking for solutions and had come with samples to produce the desired results on the machines on display here. Our team of experts not only guided them on the best solutions but we also learnt from them as we usually do. The information we gather here gets back to our team of experts as feedback. They come up with solutions that are better suited for evolving needs – this is a continuous process at Minosha,” concludes Mahajan.
Minosha India are distributors for the huge RICOH lineup of products and solutions. They market their product line and represent them in industry events like PAMEX and many others. Minosha India also manages RICOH products’ global launches in India.
