Neeraj Thappa, GM – International Sales, Monotech Systems, says, “The JETSCI MUV 216 Installed at Picfare Print is a complete solution integrated on customer’s existing Flexo Press to print Variable data at the speeds of up to 130 m/min. The customer can now use their workflow to deliver labels with Serialization, Numbering or with codes. It’s a modular unit and can be upgraded to next levels on field any time later and if required; even add the camera inspection and verification system online.”
Mr. George Pryde, GM Picfare Print says, “We evaluated various high-speed inkjet systems suppliers and short listed Monotech System’s JETSCI due to their approach, positive attitude and the ease with which they provided information and answers throughout the product evaluation. Monotech were available always to answer queries whether it was technical details or offering solutions to our specific requirements. Moreover we were impressed and encouraged by their global installation base and vast experience in the field. So it did not take much time for us to finalize the system. It’s been some time now since the system was installed and is in production, we are delighted with the performance, after sales service and support of Monotech Systems JESTCI”. And since the system is modular and upgradable, we do look to various options by which new applications can be addressed and developed by Monotech Systems.
PICFARE is Uganda’s largest printed paper-products solutions provider and have been in operation since 1981 where the company started in small premises on 2nd Street, Kampala. By 1992 the company began producing exercise books and offering products to the local market thereby reducing the dependency on importation of school exercise books. We are on a rigorous development track – increasing our product range, by the day. We have ventured into the printing business – commercial and security – and have appeared as the first government approved “Security Printing Company”. We have acquired a state-of-the-art Flexo printing press which has expanded our printing capabilities to labels and now addition of a Monochrome Hi-Speed Inkjet Imprinting system.”
