New-ProImage Asia has installed its NewsWay Production Workflow at the largest newspaper in Thailand, Thairath Daily in Bangkok.
The newspaper replaced its previous system with New-ProImage NewsWay to standardize and streamline their production workflow. Their request for a powerful, simple to operate, affordable system with low maintenance could be met by New-ProImage. Major decision factors for Thairath were that NewsWay allowed them to remain their structure, hardware and software as well as required only minimal changes to their whole production system setup.
New-ProImage NewsWay controls and manages production workflow from a variety of front-end systems through to output. It provides automation and control for the entire production of magazines, commercial jobs and of course newspapers. The system at Thairath extends the solution from colour management control, workflow solutions, drivers of CtP and through to complete press and plate management.
One of Thairath’s main objectives was to eliminate manual operations of pairing page elements and ensure complete tracking and position of all pages in production. In addition, reduction in time from editorial to press ready plates and integration of current RIP and CtP systems into the production were also a large requirement all of which NewsWay is now providing to Thairath.
Thairath’s Pre-Press Manager Khun Thanin Teranasarn is pleased with the “very short and efficient” installation and the flexibility of the New-ProImage workflow system. He also praises the efficiency and user friendliness of the system. Another big aspect is the fact that New-ProImage offers excellent after-sales support and the maintenance of the system is much less time consuming than the previous system.
With this installation, New-ProImage is closing 100% market share for production workflow in Thailand.
