Seiko along with its partners – Kao, Meteor, P&T and Trijet showcased their latest solutions at the recent drupa in Germany. Seiko showcased the new launch RCE2560 a 600dpi head for corrugation and textile market; People & Technology (P&T) showcased the new Smart cleanjector for cleaning of printheads; Kao showcased the backtrack printer with Seiko inks. “At Kao we also demonstrated the De-Inking with water-based inks from Thermo-switch polymer,” informs Namrata Sharma, Seiko Instruments. Meteor showcased their full range of printhead driver solutions along with a printer printing live at the booth.
Seiko and partner booths at drupa were pretty busy with visitors from various countries showing keen interest in all their products. Visitors from India, China, Japan, US, Middle East, Europe and Pakistan visited to know more about the solutions offered by the companies. They received a lot of leads and positive queries to be followed subsequent to the grand showcase.
The company plans to showcase more Inkjet technology at the next drupa. They would be incorporating new technologies and ideas into the offerings for the next event. “The key focus would be to make the exhibit more sustainable, such as using eco-friendly materials or minimizing waste,” says Namrata.
As for their drupa experience, Namrata shares, “The organization can ensure a diverse range of exhibitors from different segments of the printing industry, including traditional printing, digital printing, packaging, labelling, and innovative technologies like 3D printing. This variety attracts a broader audience and fosters cross-industry collaboration. Encourage exhibitors to create interactive exhibits and live demonstrations of their printing technologies. This allows attendees to see the equipment in action and understand its capabilities firsthand. Embrace digital tools and platforms to enhance the event experience, such as mobile apps for event information, virtual tours of exhibits, and digital catalogues. This accommodates diverse attendee preferences and enhances accessibility. And last but not the least please make the ticket price reasonable and valid for all days.”
“One more important thing I observed was the inclination of manufacturers to go Inkjet which was quite obvious in Drupa. So, now is the time to go Inkjet,” she concludes.
