OPA celebrates Independence Day at its office in Ludhiana, commemorating 76 glorious years of progressive India.
Offset Printers’ Association (OPA) celebrated the 77th Independence Day at its office in South City, Ludhiana, with key highlights including unfurling of the Indian National Flag by Mr. Parveen Aggarwal, President of OPA, national anthem recitation and distribution of sweets.
Speaking on the occasion Prof. Kamal Chopra, General Secretary OPA said, “We are here to commemorate 76 glorious years of progressive India and its rich history, diverse population, magnificent culture, and great achievements. It is the time to remember our heroes who were instrumental for the independence of our nation. It is the time to pay homage to all known and unknown stalwarts who sacrificed their life so that we can live peacefully in an independent country.”
In his address Mr. Parveen Aggarwal, President OPA said, “Independence Day is celebrated annually. On August 15, 2023, India is celebrating the completion of 76 years of independence. On this day, India is remembered for achieving independence from colonial authority after two centuries of British repression. The significance of the day is very special, because on this Independence Day, India will again be commemorating its freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the unity of India, because ‘Nation First, always first’.”
Mr. Kushal Kumar Jain, Sr Vice President, Mr. Gagandeep Singh, Vice President, Mr. Hans Raj Chopra, Finance Secretary, Mr. Manoj Kumar, Secretary and Mr. Rohan Oberai Executive Member of OPA, also paid tributes on the occasion. Others present on the occasion were Mr. Sumit Gupta, Mr. Shellinder Shelly, Mr. Ravi Verma, Mr. Dalip Chopra, Mr Asrar Tareen, Mr. Pawan Kumar and Mr. Davinder Singh.
