In a joint initiative by Chintan Environmental Research And Action Group, Hindustan Tin Works Ltd and the Petainer Innopac Packaging, an educational & learning centre for girl child was recently inaugurated in Delhi. Mr. Atit Bhatia, MD, Petainer Innopac Packaging inaugurated the centre at Takiya Kale Khan.
The centre aims to provide better education and supports Chintan’s ‘No Child in Trash’ program that helps less privileged children of waste collectors.
The event was marked by cultural performances by the children who gave out a strong and emotional message on the topic of Child Marriage.
