PRINT CHINA 2023 will take place from 11th to 15th April 2023 at Dongguan.
The 5th edition of PRINT CHINA 2023 will be held from the 11th to 15th of April 2023 at the Guangdong Modern International Exhibition Center in Dongguan. On February 27, 2023, the organizer of the exhibition held the “PRINT CHINA 2023 International Media Week” event at the Intercontinental Hotel in Dongguan. The event was attended by over 200 print professionals. The event was broadcast live globally and overseas guests from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan regions and representatives of printing industry associations participated in real time.

With Chinese printing industry closely related to their national economy, Print China 2023 is spread over 140,000 square meters with over 1,000 exhibitors in attendance. China’s printing industry has broad development prospects, and the Chinese market with strong purchasing power has more and stronger demands.
Wang Fengna, deputy secretary-general of PEIAC, presided over the meeting & Wang Jinming, Exhibition Director of Beijing Huagang International Exhibition Co., Ltd. presided over the meeting in the morning and the afternoon sessions respectively during the day long event.
Liang Shaoguang, deputy secretary-general of the Dongguan Municipal People’s Government, said in his speech: “The printing industry is a key link in the manufacturing industry, Dongguan’s papermaking and paper products industry and packaging and printing industry will account for 5.5% of the city’s total industrial output value, making great contributions to promote Dongguan become a prominent manufacturing city in the country and even in the world!”
Lu Changan, the consultant to the chairman of PEIAC, enumerated the six highlights of the show which included unvieling of the world’s highest level of offset printing machines; display of the latest Digital printing technologies, new materials, and automated printing processes and solutions for book printing, packaging printing, commercial printing, and label printing, helping enterprises to open a new sustainable business model along with live display of Post-press packaging equipment developments from stand-alone to connected, to digital, networked, intelligent, and multi-functional capabilities. “The field of flexible packaging will make its debut with focus on display of green printing technology and VOC management solutions and for the first time will have the flexible packaging day,” he added.
The organizers expect over 180,000 visitors to the exhibition and an expected online audiences of about 400,000. Alongside the grand show, organisers are arranging for various exchange meetings, seminars, forums and other activities totaling to more than 70 sessions. Some of these important international conferences are under preparation, such as the 5th International Printing Technology Development Forum which is expected to focus on hot issues of domestic and foreign industry and the development trends, many industry leaders and experts are being invited to deliver as well as attend the speeches. During the exhibition, meetings of international organizations such as the Global Printing Alliance and the Asian Printing Exhibition Alliance will also be organized to actively promote exchanges and cooperation among member countries. In addition, the industry’s prestigious and influential 9th China Printing Awards will also be held during the exhibition.
The 27th February event also had presentations from twelve major exhibitors like Heidelberg, Hewlett-Packard, KBA, Komori, Tianjin Evergreen, Jiahe Dingxin, Konica Minolta, Bobst, Precision, Haoxin, Weigang etc.
In his concluding speech Lu Changan, the chairman consultant of PEIAC, said: “The three-year epidemic has blocked everyone’s face-to-face communication, but innovation had never stopped and the 12 exhibitors who spoke today represent the development direction of the world’s printing technology, the vast majority of the products introduced represent the highest level in the world today.” He also added that judging from the product introduction, everyone has carried out a rich and systematic product line display, digital, networked, intelligent, multi-colour, high-speed, high-efficiency, and multi-functional, Large format, is a common technical feature of all kinds of printing equipment and post-press equipment.
