Latest global technology on show with many sales announced, including those by Heidelberg and Canon.
The 14th edition of Print Pack 2019 was declared open by the President Mr.Dayaker Reddy in the presence of dignitaries from across the world at about 11:30 in the morning yesterday. With a gross area of about 65000 square meters and over 500 exhibitors, it is indeed a show worth a watch for one and all in the printing industry.
PrintPack India this time is a 6-day event which used to be a 5-day event earlier. According to the President, PrintPack this time features dedicated halls for their association partners like ICPBMA & FCBM (Corrugation Industry) and Hall 3 for APLS (Label Industry).
In addition to Indian manufacturers of printing and packaging machines, the show has attracted exhibitors from across the world with major manufacturers of machines and providers of technologies and solutions displaying their wares. There are also a few Chinese vendors present with their latest solutions despite it being the Chinese New Year holidays.
The dignitaries, immediately after the inauguration, passed through the halls with the attention grabbing military style band leading the troupe.
As for us, we attended the press conference at Heidelberg (sold both the machines on display – one to TCPL and another to Amber Print Pack from Lucknow), Canon (sold C8000 to Avantika), Xerox (displaying the Iridesse model with special inks), Konica Minolta (offering their affordable range of digital products for printing, embellishments and labels) and a few more. Read more details of these and many in the next issue of our magazine.
We recommend a visit to the show by all printer friends.
