Sahil Graphics showcases latest Square Bottom Machine at drupa 2024

All the machines on display receive good visitor response at drupa 2024.

“The days at drupa 2024 for us were very different – full of opportunities and of course tiring,” says Shariq Ansari, Overseas Head, Sahil Graphics.

Participating at the recent drupa, Sahil Graphics had its latest Square Bottom Machine on display, Model SBM 360X which has 7 servo motors for easier and faster size change. “We also had a new machine on display, The Carton Erecting and Forming Machine for making burger boxes and food trays amongst many other things,” adds Shariq. Both the machines presented to the drupa 2024 audience received very good responses. Visitors from all over the world were welcomed by Sahil Graphics team at their drupa stand. Visitors from more than 50 countries visited their stand. “We had a very good clientele for follow ups and closed many orders during the show. It was a good experience all around,” states Shariq, who is sure to do good business within the next few quarters coming back from an exciting drupa. However, visitors, according to Shariq, were less this time. He too cites visa issues and hope the problem is resolved the next time. “Also the drupa ticket should again be introduced for easier travelling for exhibitors and visitors,” he adds. He also perceives that the govt. should promote and help the manufacturers for exhibiting as it will be ‘a huge gain for the country economically in the long run.’

His advice to next time drupa (2028 edition) exhibitors is to come up with something that is their core strength, new and revolutionary for the market. “And don’t forget to bring someone to cook Indian food,” he smiles.

“If you’re short on time, consider coming in the last week of the show as the crowd is lesser,” is his advice to the visitors.

“I think the show could have better promotions or lesser days. The footfall was considerably lesser in the last 4-5 days. Also, if the days are reduced the show can be little economic which is better for participants,” concludes Shariq.
