Saralon GmbH has partnered with the premium glass decoration company Dekorglass Działdowo S.A. to combine creative design with printed electronics directly on glass bottles.
As a manufacturer of inks and production know-how for printed electronics, Saralon has developed a universally unique approach for direct printing of functional inks on glass bottles using fully automatic glass decoration systems. The technology, called SaralLight LED on Glass, showcases the successful mass commercialisation of printed electronics in consumer goods by transforming standard converters into advanced sophisticated printed electronics production systems.
To create this festive liqueur bottle that’s been widely distributed in the Christmas markets by a renowned international retailer, Saralon partnered with Polish premium glass decorator Dekorglass Działdowo S.A. They printed Saral Inks directly onto glass bottles and added mini-LEDs, all on a fully automated glass decoration line.
