In a recent development, Nippon Color has agreed to sell and service solutions from Screen including CTP devices and UV Inkjet digital label press. The company will be focusing on these launches at the Labelexpo India 2022.

The company will be present at booth M-23 in Hall 5. “We will be present at this simple 9m x 3m stall, and meet with customers and display samples printed on Screen Truepress Jet L350UV SAI series,” says Akshat. “We will present customers with Flexo plate samples imaged on Screen, Cron, and Luescher CTP devices and processed on Glunz & Jensen flexo plate processors. We are also working with Hybrid Software for their PackZ solution,” he adds.

The feature product would be Screen Truepress Jet L350UV SAI series. The new SAI range offers improved colour reproduction with CMYK + O + B as well as superior scalability, enabling it to meet an even wider variety of market needs. “The reliable and robust L350UV+ series has reported an uptime in excess of 90%, based on customer data analyzed from over 150 installations worldwide.

“Since labels for food packaging must satisfy strict safety standards, the Low Migration ink for SAI LM is fully compliant with the EuPIA Exclusion Policy for Printing Inks and Related Products, the positive list of the Swiss Ordinance and Nestle Guidance for packaging inks,” reveals Akshat.

Nippon Color is also launching a UV LED exposure unit for flexo plates. The main advantage it has over exposure by tubes is that UV LED produces a uniform light intensity throughout the plate. LED exposure is also fast and does not require the warm up time that lamps do.
