Present at a 187 sq.mtr stall displaying their complete product range brightly divided in Digital, Commercial and Packaging segments, the company showcases its prowess in terms of technical advance solutions.
For more than 59 years, the name Daya Printograph has been synonymous with reliability flexibility and quality. Their decades of specialization in printing finishing, packaging and paper converting has pave a path of success for them in both India as well as international markets. Their range of machines that includes Laminating, Platen Punching, Paper Guillotines, Carton Folding & Gluing Machine, Corrugation Plants etc. is known for quality, reliability and trouble-free performance. Besides the countrywide network base in India, the company’s exports cover from Eastern Europe to Africa to Middle East, Far East Asia, Taiwan, Australia, Latin America, Canada and USA.
The company was present at the recent Printpack India 2022 which is a key show for them as well. Sonal Sheth, Director Sheth Printograph, comments on their participation, “Printpack is surely a mecca for Graphic arts industry, next to Drupa. Every stakeholders of our industry, be it printer, machine manufacturer, dealers, ancillary equipment provider, spare suppliers, paper supplier look forward to participate in this show and gain business. We have been exhibitor at Printpack India right from its first edition. We have seen it growing by leaps and bounds which provides opportunity to manufacturer/dealer of every scale to showcase their products at a common affordable platform. This edition was grand mainly because of larger participation with many machines going on live demos on the show.”
“We have received overwhelming response from visitors and struck many deals as well,” adds Sonal Sheth.
Sheth Printograph under brand DAYA was present at their huge 187 sq.mtr stall where they displayed their complete product range which was brightly divided in Digital, Commercial and Packaging segments.
“Digital Section focused on Double Side Thermal Lamination in B2 (20” x 30”) size for large format digital printers and 13”x 19” for regular digital printers while the Packaging and Commercial section showcased Automatic Wet Lamination machines, Automatic Thermal Lamination, Double Heating Thermal for high end printed jobs,” informs Neeraj Sheth, Director.
“Automatic Thermal Lamination and Wet lamination with servo controlled overlaps, Electro magnetic Heating for faster and effective heating with Auto sheeting were the highlight of the show,” he adds.
Sheth Printograph also showcased SPM Reel to Reel Lamination machine with webguide, auto pneumatic brakes, web splicer, double unwind and rewind systems and Electromagnetic Heating station. All the machines were on live demo which received tremendous response. “Customers get more inquisitive when jobs are continuously running during the show,” underlines Sonal Sheth.
Sheth Printograph’s main focus was to showcase the company’s prowess in terms of technical advance solutions. “‘Technical advance solutions’ is our USP. We cater to large section of customer for SPMs. Customers reach out to us for any special application in Print Finishing, Converting,” continues Sonal.
Daya (Sheth Printograph) announced sale of multiple lamination machines during the four days of the Printpack India show. Automatic wet lamination machine was picked by two customers, one in Gujarat and one in Mumbai. The model, Jazz, has servo-controlled overlap with accuracy of +/-1mm and speed upto 60-mpm with pressing, coating and rewinding with pneumatics.
Two other customers from Hyderabad and Kuwait confirmed deals for the automatic thermal lamination machine model Spark, which is equipped with servo-controlled overlap, electromagnetic heating and auto-sheeting at speed of 40-mpm.
Meanwhile, Bhargav Press, Allahabad, picked up two thermal laminators. The company also booked four orders for its digital thermal laminator.
In addition, an automotive industry customer picked up the company’s special purpose reel-to-reel heat transfer lamination machine of 1300-mm width.
“Quality is of prime importance to us. We do not compromise on quality. We always want to stay ahead in terms of technological advancement on machines to give better performance,” asserts Sonal Sheth.
“Customisation is our core competence. We look forward to closing more deals going forward; next 1-2 months would be crucial,” she adds.
“We have received good number of visitors at our stand since we were busy all the time to attend them. Almost all were strictly business visitors which included new and existing customers,” adds Neeraj Sheth.
“Industry has come out of Covid and focusing purely on business with expansion plans well in place. We see major investments in machines post Covid owing to understanding of every printer about automation and labour free process,” notes Neeraj.
“Though in the past 2 years we have experienced many setbacks due to Covid – price rise, labour shortages, grim situation of international business – but now we need to accept it and move on. We need to re-strategise our business models which are flexible, open to vertical or horizontal expansions and integration which are the only ways to sustain in difficult times,” he identifies.
Speaking about the Noida venue and organization of PPI, he says, “IEML Venue at Greater Noida is world class facility for hosting such grand shows like Printpack India. We recollect, way back in 2013, there was lot of hesitation from print fraternity and exhibitors to shift venue from Pragati Maidan to Greater Noida, but with facilities, infrastructure and organistion of show, there are no hiccups now.”
“The show was very well organized with ease of online registration, handy layout maps, well spread food court, lunch coupons & free water for exhibitors, parking facility etc.,” explains Neeraj.
“Though May is not the right time to organize show in Northern part of India; visitors were a little reluctant to visit in this scorching heat but Thank God, weather improved during those days and it was comfortable for both exhibitors and visitors,” he continues.
They welcomed a few overseas visitors at the stall who, according to Neeraj, were very impressed with Sheth Printograph showcased products. They clicked a couple of overseas deals as well.
“Each exhibitor had focus on automation, packaging and paper. These were the key attraction of this Printpack. These are the technologies to influence the future course of the industry and show the direction in which industry is cruising,” concludes Neeraj Sheth with a final note: “For the revival and growth of the industry, Government support is very crucial. I believe the Government must provide conducive market conditions for the growth. It is also essential to control rising prices which have negative impact on investment plans too.”
