Lombardi adds another successful chapter at the Greater Noida show with three sales on the show floors.
Lombardi Converting Machinery S.p.A. is a 30 year old Italian company and is known for production and distribution of automatic punching machines for labels and envelopes, flexographic central drum machines, and narrow web flexographic in-line presses.
With more than 1300 installations in 100 countries all over the world, Lombardi has set new standards in converting and printing technology. “Research and development is the core to our business and thus providing the ultimate solutions to the label and converting industry is our vision and aim” says Nicola Lombardi, Marketing Manager of Lombardi.
India for Lombardi is one of the very important market and is represented by Vinsak (Creed Engineers (P) Ltd.) and have about 20 presses installed in the country as of now. “This is for the first time that we are showing two presses at Label Expo India 2018 with many interesting innovations incorporated into them,” adds Nicola. The Synchroline machine on display incorporated the special Hot Foil Stamping, Embossing and Holographic capabilities and is, as usual, based on the modular concept enabling the printers to add or remove modules as per their convenience thus giving the always needed flexibility aspect.
Talking to us, Ranesh Bajaj of Creed Engineers was all gung-ho about the show and the success of the Lombardi brand in the Indian market. “We had a busy few days at the show and had a constant line of visitors both new as well as old to have a look at the presses on display” said Ranesh.
Polylam Printers of Greater Noida bought the Lombardi Synchroline 430 on display at Vinsak show stand. The 8 colour Synchroline all UV comes with special attachments like flat-bed Hot Stamping, Embossing in-line. Polylam, already running a couple of Indian make Multitec presses has gone for their first Lombardi press with this deal. Mr. Vishal from Polylam Printers was present at the show to finalise the deal.
Also, Mumbai-based Prakruti Graphics booked a Lombardi Flexoline Plus press. This would be the first Flexoline Plus from the house of Lombardi to be installed in India. It is the state-of-the-art Lombardi technology that attracted Mr. Mandar (Nandu) Rangnekar’s interest. He went for the world class Flexoline Plus technology with a few features especially customised to their specific needs by Lombardi.
Ahmedabad-based Prakash Printers has invested in an 8-colour Lombardi Synchroline 530 press. It’s their second Lombardi press with the first being a 430mm 8-colour Synchroline installed last year.
