The Silver jubilee edition of the conference (on 12-14 September in Chennai), since its inception in 1993, comes in a new and refreshing format.
WAN-IFRA India 2017, the much sought after annual meeting point of the news publishing industry in South Asia, is scheduled to be held on 12-14 September in Chennai at the ITC Grand Chola. The event will return to Chennai after a gap of five years. It is also the silver jubilee edition of WAN-IFRA India Conferences – the first having been organised in 1993, in Chennai. The conference expects to attract more than 400 decision makers – Managing Directors, CEOs, Editors, Production Directors and other senior executives from the industry.
For the silver jubilee edition, a new and refreshing format of the event is planned. First, the event will bring ‘World Editors Forum – South Asia Summit’ for the first time to India. The popular Printing Summit Conference, two preconference workshops, networking dinners and expo will complete the event. Considering the demand to be closer to the conference venue, the expo will have limited number of booths interconnected with the conference. The venue hotel ITC Grand Chola is the largest and most modern new hotel in Chennai.
While the conference and the expo will take place on 13-14 September, the pre-conference workshops will take place on 12 September, all at the same venue. A visit to a modern printing plant in Chennai is also planned on the last day of the event, 14 September.
The conference offers various sponsorship opportunities for suppliers to highlight their presence and brand image. The booking for expo booth is open now.
