DGM Automation is a known name in the field of manufacturing folder gluers, die-cutters, hot foil stamping machines and flute laminators. At the PAMEX 2023 it displayed its largest selling product SmartFold 1100SL Automatic folder Gluer. The show generated good leads and the company sold about 10 machines at the show. The company had sold 3 machines on the opening day itself.
Sangeeta Poly Pack highlights newly developed product made from recycled plastic materials
Sangeeta Poly Pack, the manufacturer of plastic products and polypropylene films and sheets, has developed a new product from plastic materials that have been used and discarded by consumers and then processed and turned into new products. They showcased a stationery file made out of 30% post-consumer-recycled waste. The company usually sources post-consumer recycled plastics from plastic bottles, containers, packaging, and other items that are typically thrown away after use. The sourced material is then used to make a wide range of products, such as new plastic bottles, bags, and packaging materials.
Xerox CMYK Plus
Xerox focusing on their customers’ success, among other things, focused on trying to create a new revenue stream with its CMYK Plus. Starting from an entry production machine, a Xerox customer can travel in the journey of getting into CMYK Plus with an entry production engine and then probably go to a mid-production and eventually to high-end production as the business grows. The entry-level production machine is capable of eleven colours. The high-end printer is Xerox Iridesse Production Press. Another focus area was about reducing costs and increasing productivity. It also presented the capabilities of FreFlow Core software for pre-press automation.
The adaptive CMYK Plus was launched recently in India. PAMEX was the first full exposition of that portfolio with the full breadth of applications and a million possibilities.
Komori India closes about 20 deals at Pamex
Komori India, a100% subsidiary of Komori Corporation Japan had a huge success at Pamex 2023 with about 20 deals for its range of sheetfed offset printing presses closing during the four days of the Mumbai event. Komori sold Enthrone 29, GL29, GL37 and GL40 presses with capabilities like online coating and ranged from two to seven colour machines. Komori signed deals for multiple printing presses from commercial to packaging segments. The company has not only sold over 26 printing presses for the packaging segment this financial year, but has the strongest staff backing in India after Japan and China. Its strong team of 48 engineers serves clients across pan-India. With over 400 installations across the country, Komori provides high quality products known for unmatched reliability.

Bengaluru’s Usha Prints books Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230
Usha Prints is one of the leading commercial printers in Bengaluru. The company has booked a Konica Minolta AccurioLabel 230 during the PAMEX 2023. BH Srinivas of Usha Prints says they are now expanding from the sheet-fed to roll-to-roll label printing applications with the new investment in the high-end Konica Minolta label press. The press is designed to run at the speed of 23.4m, 18.9m, 13.5m and 9.45m per minutes as per the selected media.
Ashwin Enterprises sells 13 machines @ PAMEX
At PAMEX, Ashwin Enterprises is providing finishing solutions for digital printing, which includes lamination machines, paper-cutting machines, creasing and perforation machines and cutting machines. Jai Bhanushali, Sales Director, Ashwin Enterprises, shares that they are authorized by brands like Vulcan, SmartCut, CFL, OKI and TPS. “On the first day of PAMEX, we closed 13 deals, mostly for Vulcan SC350 high speed label cutter and FC700 highspeed flatbed cutter. These customers are more from South India,” concludes Jai.

At PAMEX, Nippon Color booked an order for Konica Minolta Accurioshine 3600 powered by MGI for Navratan Offset. Working as an offset printer and packaging converter for the local market since last 30 odd years, Varun Agarwal of Navratan offset along with his brother Tushar, have now decided to venture into digital print finishing to provide exclusive and premium packaging amongst other branding solutions to their existing and new set of clients.
